Pricing

We are raising $1,200,000 to buy "Dance." Each owner then will be responsible for a $300,000 commitment, either with cash or with financing. With this amount, we will have a cash surplus of about $147,000, which will be used to purchase what we think we need to make it work for us. The boat currently does not have a stern thruster, so this will be the major upgrade that we will do at about $18,000. We will need to purchase tools, fishing equipment and water toys for the kids (of all ages). If we have a scuba person or two as owners, we will install an air tank compressor for their use as well.

We intend to maintain our boat in Bristol Fashion with professional mechanics and maintenance people. We will encourage owners to do some of this work if they enjoy it, but our mission is to provide it so that the owners don't have to. Monthly pricing for each one fourth owner will be in the range of $2200, broken down as follows:

In addition to the regular monthly overhead, each owner will be responsible for the cost of clean up, filling the fuel tank at the end of their cruise, and the cost of the food and beverages put on board for their use.

A word about Repositioning: this cost of $12,000 for the boat, for the year, assumes a long repositioning twice a year with a professional Captain. We may be able to achieve the boat movement with our owners, saving the greater part of this expense and providing blue water trips for those who will enjoy them.
