Doug Marshall has had a successful career as a real estate
investor and syndicator in Tucson, Arizona. This idea of offering
shared ownership of yachts, especially Nordhavns, has been in the
thinking process for a long time. Since being semi-retired, he decided
to use his syndicating experience in a new area, that of putting
like-minded people together to own and enjoy yachting the Nordhavn way.
Doug's interests outside of his business include boating, trapshooting and outdoor activities such as running and biking. His boating experience began at the age of eight when he found a 24-foot wooden life boat and converted it to a sailboat. He is an instrument rated private pilot and is involved in a group known as the Flying Samaritans, flying medical personnel to clinics in small villages in Baja Mexico.
Sandi Kientz has had a life-long affiliation with the ocean,
having lived and worked on the Maryland coast for many years. Early in
her career, Sandi served as Director of Human Resources for a large crab
specialty restaurant scheduling the duties of 250 young women, a feat
akin to herding cats. For the past six years she has been President of
a 550 member Sportsman's Club in Kino Bay, Mexico. Among her duties is
the responsibility of overseeing rescue services of the private fishing
fleet in the Sea of Cortez, out of Kino Bay. Needless to say, Sandi is
a dedicated, detail oriented business woman. Her education includes a
Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Arizona. She has a
home in Tucson, Arizona and a beach house on the ocean in Kino Bay, Mexico.
Sandi's interests outside of her business include travel, trapshooting (see a possible connection here?), walking trips to various parts of the world and camping.
